Karl Ackerman
In 2000 Todd asked for help finding a good path in recovery at DBSA Boston (formerly MDDA). While attending groups on the hill in Belmont, MA,
Todd was grateful for the fellowship, good people and kindness. Todd decided to help volunteer as a facilitator for support groups under the leadership and guidance of Karl Ackerman. A dear friend to many in greater Boston, Karl was a retired engineer and US Navy Veteran who later became President of NAMI GB CAN.
